Tank, Self-Propelled Guns, Long-Range Rockets : Will it Turned Out To Be Magic Pills or usher in a wider conflict?

The Ukrainian conflict is becoming more complicated with every passing day. Europeans and Americans are sending billions of dollars in weapons to Ukraine to defend its sovereignty and people, but Russia sees it as a provocative move.

Following a lengthy debate, NATO members recently decided to send tanks from their reserve weapons. As a result, Germany is sending its most advanced Leopard 2A6 tanks, the United Kingdom is sending Challenger 2 tanks, and the United States is considering sending Abram tanks.

Another point raised by
Ukraine's President Zelenskyy is that the West is considering sending fighter jets such as the F-16 and Eurofighter Typhoon to Ukraine, but that option has been categorically rejected by all NATO members, including the United States.

Russia has already increased its attacks on Ukraine, and as a result, Russia has increased its offensive against Ukraine in Donetsk. It recently struck Kramatosk.

As the number of attacks on Ukraine grows, Ukraine can use those tanks to mount a formidable defense against Russian aggression.

How Tanks from Germany, the US, and the UK could change the Ukraine war?

In modern-day warfare, tanks have been a key component for offensive and defensive operations, punching through enemy lines and retaking territory.

The most efficient use of tanks will provide mobile firepower, protection, shock, and surprise against a formidable enemy. Tanks can distract the enemy's defense, but in order to maneuver effectively, tanks require the support of artillery and infantry to hold retaken ground.

There are several famous tank battles, the majority of which occurred during the Second and First World Wars: The battle of Kursk - which was fought between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, The battle of Arracoart - which was fought between the United States and Nazi Germany. The Battle of Cambrai, fought between the United Kingdom and Germany, is one of the most famous examples of a WWI tank battle. To break the German trench defense in 1917, British tanks fought a battle to break the deadlock of static trench warfare. Initially, the United Kingdom gained ground, but Germans were able to breach the UK's tank frontline because the UK lacked a second line of defense, which is artillery.

The tanks can also be used for defense purposes. The tank battle gained prominence after WWII and has maintained its significance since then.

However, due to the discovery of anti-tank missiles, guns, and various other anti-tank arsenals, the effectiveness of tanks has been reduced in modern times. In modern warfare, drones have gained prominence over ground-level weapons.

The Leopard 2A6 or Challenger could change the course of war if they could be combined with artillery and other battle weapons.

How Ukraine might use tanks as spearheads in an attack:

Although Western countries are sending weapons and tanks to Ukraine, Ukraine requires at least 1000 of those tanks to break the Russian battle group's frontline. Russia has opened Pandora's Box in order to hit its target in Ukraine.

As Ukraine is receiving only a few tanks, that is why they have to deploy tanks strategically to break the enemy lines and get into the enemy territory and retake the lost territory.

Ukraine is planning to use the tanks in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv fronts to prevent Russian advancement.

Can Ukraine Really Handle Those Very Advanced Tanks:

Tanks are not like "Magic Pills". it will solve every problem in minutes or hours or even days. Because handling these tanks is a mammoth issue on its own.

Before using these tanks, Ukrainian soldiers need a prolonged understanding of those tanks because Ukraine never used western tanks before. they have relied on Russian-made T-72 tanks and are unaware of Western tank technologies.

Therefore, to operate western tanks Ukrainian army needs world-class training facilities. Alongside, the hectic operational training, they also need to be trained for repairing and maintaining those beasts. France is also providing AMX-10RC battle-ready mechanized battle vehicles for Ukraine. Every time, before using those advanced weapons, Ukrainian soldiers need proper training facilities in Ukraine, which they are lacking.

Could this move spread the war to a wider level in Europe?

Since the beginning of the Ukraine conflict, Russia has threatened the West with nuclear war. The movement of tanks to its border is seen as a provocation by Russia. On the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad, Russian President Vladimir Putin compared the movement of tanks to Russian borders to Nazi Germany's movement of artillery and tanks toward Stalingrad during WWII.

The German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, declared the Ukraine conflict as Europe's war against the Russian Federation. And for that, she was criticized by European nations, and the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, decided to hold a talk with Putin to pacify the fire.

Therefore, the world is witnessing that the war is being stretched and there is no sign of negotiation from either side. In reality, both sides have to negotiate and come to the diplomatic table to break a deal and stop the conflict.

Because, the world needs peace, and the world needs food and fuel to run everyday life. After the conflict, the cost of both has touched the zenith and there is no sign of slowing down, yet.
